Though both reviews were excellent…Wow. The New Yorker review was a riot.

It’s a shame though. Given all the reviewers complaints about the movie it’s still a box office smash.

Hey, thanks for linking to The New Yorker review; it was hilarious! I thought yours was pretty good as well :) . I think I just have to go see this movie and get it over with so I can form a better opinion on it. But the reviews keep scaring me off…!

      Fr. John:

These reviews and the post by Pia de Solenni are great.

Another review by Tim Robey lives up to the headline: “What’s Latin for Balderdash?”

Both articles were very good; thanks for posting them. It did impress me that Opus Dei’s been quite level-headed about this. For what it’s worth, this was my take.

Of course, “The Albino Code” was excellent. http://www.albinocode.com

Just read that Columbia is going to make movie out of Angels and Demons too

Really? So we’ll have the first book come out second; the prequel as sequel. This is becoming quite interesting.

Maybe Columbia will bring some of Chick publications to the big screen too! The Da Vinci Code really did look like one of those ‘Rome is the whore of Babylon’ comic books.

Just learned that Columbia/Sony has bought the rights re:filming for all Brown’s novels…wow, when it rains it pours.

Well, who’d have guessed such a thing would happen? This piece just forwarded to me. (Heads up, it’s in Spanish though).

Thanks, Michelle. But I think only the first quote was meant for a laugh–the second, well, it struck me as more profound.

      Absolutely right…

So here’s one for a laugh then.
