This blog has been offline for a while. Reason: it was hacked! Maybe it’s a testament to its popularity, or notoriety, but most of the attacks have been remote (using automated bots), rather than direct human intervention. We toyed with the idea of taking it down completely, but over the (now) 5 years of the existence of this blog with 130 posts by Fr. John Wauck and over 14,000 comments (more than 15,000 if you include the spam comments), it seems a waste of intellectual resource not to try to sustain the blog.

We have worked over the past weeks to restore it and we are still doing so. At the moment, you will not be able to make any comments, but at least new visitors can read and benefit from the immense resources here.

Once we feel we have done enough house-keeping, we would open up the blog again for comments.

Will Fr. Wauck be posting again soon? I really don’t know because the poor guy is inundated with work – aplenty.
